AHHH! I am officially done! I downloaded "10 Simple Secrets of the World's Greatest Business Communicators" . This is a very interesting idea. It was hard to pick just one book, there were many good ones. The library could totally benefit from the virtual library. I think it would be great for our homebound patrons.

I am getting closer...to the finish line! Google Tools is quite useful . Before I got the gmail, I didn't even know there was email through Google. Anyway, I tried Google docs. It was simple to do especially compared with MS Word and Outlook. Ms Word isn't too hard but it is boring, google docs was much much more user friendly. I thought google docs was easy as writing an email.

Looking up on Wikipedia is interesting. I typed in a few random things and there was information on there! Even in different languages, and this was accurate. i could even add in my two cents.

Podcasting

I've come a long way, Baby!! At first glance, I thought, "What the heck is podcasting? " . It sounded like some new arts & craft idea. But now I see what all the fuss is about. It is very neat, I watched one on how to make quick chocolate covered strawberries. Some how I have managed to include chocolate in every "thing" .

It would be useful to the library to use podcasting on our website. Maybe show some meetings about how library laws are passed, or how books are processed.

pretty interesting. this step 6 really suits me. I can basically store all the websites I frequent, and I do not have to remember the addresses!!!

Wow! I am so impressed with the flkr... I can now upload and share all my favorite pictures and not have to wait for Walgreens to develop them and get extra copies and get upset for the bad shots that I had to pay for... Now I can choose which ones I like and use a tag to organize them.
